There is no requirement to sub-contract any of the processes. This allows us to control quality, speed and responsiveness for all customer demands.
Architectural aluminium processes
We understand it is critical that agreed delivery dates are met and that sometimes materials are required at very short notice. Continued investment in in-house equipment and the latest manufacturing processes ensures a fast, accurate and efficient order turnaround, every time.
Cutting and Punching
Two guillotines for cutting aluminium sheets up to 4m x 2m. Met-Fab employ a CNC turret for precision punching to produce more complex and precise component parts.
All in-house sheet aluminium punching is fully automated using a punch press or a CNC machine.

Bending and Welding
Two 4000mm Trumpf TruBend Pressbrakes with state of the art CAM technology and a wide range of specialist, bespoke tooling allows accurate and precise bending of aluminium materials. All Met-Fab Solutions welders are fluent in both the MIG and TIG aluminium welding processes.

Chrome free aluminium pre-treatment
Newly installed in 2020, a quality assured, 5 stage chrome free pre-treatment process. Using an innovative purified water system, it is environmentally kind. Material up to 4m long by 2m wide by 1m deep can be processed in the dipping tanks.

The Pre-treatment and Powder Coating facility has been inspected by technical representatives from leading architectural powder manufacturers. All procedures and processes have passed the necessary audits and Met-Fab Solutions are approved applicators offering paint guarantees.

Vacuum Bonding and Insulation
Two purpose-built Vacuum Presses for bonding flat aluminium panels up to 4m x 2m. The process uses PU moisture curing adhesive which produces a high quality product. Angle panels are bonded using industrial contact adhesives, ideally suited for use in building construction.
